1. What this is: This document will govern your use of the

STRAT-TECH, INC. (STRAT-TECH BELOW) products furnished with

it. (THE DEER EXPERT, THE FISH EXPERT and STRAT-TECH EXPERT SYSTEM).

It is valid AFTER you purchase the program via mail-in order form,

telephone, or internet for the 'FULL' version of the program.

1. What this is: This document will govern your use of the

STRAT-TECH, INC. (STRAT-TECH BELOW) products furnished with

it. (THE DEER EXPERT, THE FISH EXPERT and STRAT-TECH EXPERT SYSTEM).

It is valid AFTER you purchase the program via mail-in order form,

telephone, or internet for the 'FULL' version of the program.

The shareware demo license is listed below for the demo version.

You agree to the terms of the agreement after executing the

program the first time. Do not execute the program without

first reading, understanding, and agreeing to the terms and

conditions of this agreement.

2. GRANT OF LICENSE. STRAT-TECH hereby grants you, and you

accept, a limited license to use the enclosed diskette (s),

user manual(s), and any related materials (collectively called

the "Software" in this agreement). The software may be used

by any number of people and may be moved from one computer to

another provided it is only used by one person at a time on

one computer at a time. The Software may not be used or

installed at more than one location at a time. You may not

rent, lease, lend, sublicense or otherwise transfer the

Software or your rights hereunder.

3. STRAT-TECH's rights. By accepting this agreement, you do

not become the owner of the Software, but you do have the

right to use the Software in accordance with this agreement.

The software is protected by copyright, trade secret, and

trademark law. You acknowledge that the Software is the sole

and exclusive property of STRAT-TECH, developed or acquired by

it at great expense. You agree to use your best efforts and

all reasonable steps to protect the Software from unauthorized

use, reproduction, or distribution except as specifically

authorized by this License Agreement.

All copies of the software must contain any STRAT-TECH

copyright. All other copies of the program and its

documentation are in violation of this agreement.

4. TERM. This agreement is effective from the day you execute

the program the first time. The rights granted by

STRAT-TECH to you by this agreement shall be effective until

terminated. If you breach any of the terms or conditions of this

agreement, such rights shall automatically terminate without any

notice from STRAT-TECH to you.

5. YOUR ORIGINAL DISKETTE The diskette only allows

one install of the full version of the software. After you install the

full version the diskette can be shared with others to install

the shareware trial version per the shareware license. You

may not share or copy the full version on your hard drive

with anyone.

6. WARRANTY. STRAT-TECH warrants to the original licensee

that the disk(s) on which the software is recorded shall be

free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal

use and service for a period of 30 days from the date of

delivery as evidenced by shipping records. STRAT-TECH's

entire liability and your exclusive remedy shall be

replacement of any disk which does not meet STRAT-TECH's

limited warranty and which is returned to STRAT-TECH. If

failure of the disk has resulted from accident, abuse, or

misapplication of the product, STRAT-TECH shall have no

responsibility to replace the disk. If for any reason STRAT-

TECH should fail to replace any disk in accordance with this

limited warrant, or if for any reason the limited remedy

provided for by this paragraph should be determined to be

invalid or inapplicable to any claim which is based upon or

related to this agreement or the Software, the aggregate

liability of STRAT-TECH and anyone else whose has been

involved in the creation, production or distribution of the

software nevertheless shall be limited to the amount paid by

you for the Software.

The above are the only warranties of any kind, either

expressed or implied, including but not limited to the implied

warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular

purpose that are made by STRAT-TECH or any other person

involved in the creation, production or distribution of the

software.

The software is intended to be used only as a tool and not as

a professional adviser. Neither STRAT-TECH nor anyone else

involved in the creation, production or distribution of the

software warrants, guarantees, or makes any representations

regarding the use of the software in terms of correctness,

accuracy, reliability, currency, or otherwise, and you rely on

the software and results solely at your own risk.

Neither STRAT-TECH nor anyone else who has been involved in

the creation, production, or distribution of this software

shall be liable for any direct, indirect, consequential, or

incidental damages arising out of the use, the results of

use, or inability to use the software even if STRAT-TECH or

any such other party has been advised of the possibility of

such damages.

Shareware or Full versions may not be copied to CD-ROMs,

or other high capacity removable media for purpose of resale

without explicit approval from the author 'Strat-Tech, Inc.'

SHAREWARE LICENSE

The disk includes a shareware trial demo version

and STRAT-TECH expects you to register the program

if you use it. Registration includes receiving the

latest version of the program and many more files, functions,

and benefits (See info file in the library for added benefits).

DEFINITION OF SHAREWARE

Shareware distribution gives users a chance to try software

before buying it. If you try a Shareware program and continue

using it, you are expected to register. Individual programs

differ on details -- some request registration while others

require it, some specify a maximum trial period. With

registration, you get anything from the simple right to continue

using the software to an updated program.

Copyright laws apply to both Shareware and commercial software,

and the copyright holder retains all rights, with a few specific

exceptions as stated below. Shareware authors are accomplished

programmers, just like commercial authors, and the programs are

of comparable quality. (In both cases, there are good programs

and bad ones!) The main difference is in the method of

distribution. The author specifically grants the right to copy

and distribute the software, either to all and sundry or to a

specific group. For example, some authors require written

permission before a commercial disk vendor may copy their

Shareware.

Shareware is a distribution method, not a type of software. You

should find software that suits your needs and pocketbook,

whether it's commercial or Shareware. The Shareware system makes

fitting your needs easier, because you can try before you buy.

And because the overhead is low, prices are low also. Shareware

has the ultimate money-back guarantee -- if you don't use the

product, you don't pay for it.

Anyone distributing the program for any kind of remuneration must

contact Strat-Tech, Inc. for our authorization.

This authorization will be automatically granted to distributors

recognized by the ASP as adhering to its guidelines for

shareware distributors, and such distributors may begin offering

the program immediately (however, we must still be advised so

that the distributor can be kept up-to-date with the latest

version of the program).

EXCEPTIONS: We require that rack and CD vendors

who package and sell our software to large stores such as Walmart,

KMart, etc receive approval prior to distribution even if they are in the

ASP. We do require a royalty for any rack or CD ROM vendors.

You are encouraged to pass a copy of the program along to your

friends for evaluation. Please encourage them to register their

copy if they find that they can use it. All registered users

will receive a copy of the latest version of the program

system.

Clubs, user groups, and shareware vendors may charge a nominal fee

(less than $7) for expenses and handling while distributing the

program. ASP approved vendors have automatic approval to distribute

the program without author approval. (But see above for rack and

CD-ROM vendors).
